MISSION STATEMENT
My mission is to expose the junk debt industry for what it is, a sham. The junk debt buyers have been steam rolling people for decades, and they need to be stopped. The only people who can stop them is ME and YOU. I am on a quest to eradicate the junk debt industry. I know I’ll never eliminate it, but I pledge to put as much of a hurting on it as I legally can. If you are sick of the Junk Debt Industry abusing the legal system to take advantage of people who are afraid and ignorant of the law then join me on this quest. Arm yourself with the knowledge of the law and help others to arm themselves. Together we can take to profit out of this immoral industry.
The beatthedebtcollector.com concept developed because I witnessed an injustice. An injustice so great that I could not just stand by without doing something about it. I equate this practice with the slave hunters, who hunted and tortured the slaves after they were emancipated, then sold them back into slavery, or returned them to their masters for a bounty.
These junk debt buyers buy up old and out of statute debt and try to coerce and deceive people into paying it, even though legally the debt is uncollectible. They try to enslave them. People were being sold back into slavery. The junk debt buyers that buy this debt have legal recourse to collect any debt that is within the statute of limitation. There is certainly enough in statute debt to make it profitable. The problem is that these junk debt companies are greedy. What offends me is the practice of buying up debt that is up to decades old for less than a penny on the dollar, and bamboozling people into paying all of the principal and fees and penalties to boot. This practice should not even be legal.
INFORMATION IS FREE, THE REST IS AFFORDABLEI have a simple life premise, information is free to anyone who wants to look for it. You may have to do a lot of research, but it will pay off in the end. There are a lot of sites out there that are totally free, and can teach you how to deal with debt collectors. They have letters you can copy, paste, and edit to fit your needs, in order to eliminate your debt.
YOUR GOVERNMENT GIVES YOU THIS INFORMATION
There are government sites where you can read up on laws, like the FDCPA. There are also free legal forms on court websites, like the Maryland state district court forms website in my state. Click on Lady Justice to the right, she will take you to a site with all the state courts listed. These are made available to you, that you may use them to look up rules, and laws. Most courts have forms that you can fill out, print out, and file motions and law suits Pro Se. IT’S ALREADY PAID FOR BY YOU. If you don’t have a computer or printer you can go to the public library, find, fill out, and print these forms for about 15 cents per page. This is your tax dollars at work for you. Since you’ve already paid for it you may as well use it. The best part is that all these things are free to anyone who cares to make the effort to do it for themselves.
There are many software programs available out there, mine included. These programs make it easy and convenient to do all that is needed to erase your debt. Like me, perhaps you will find it is easier to spend a few bucks to have these letters packaged in easy to use forms on a software programs. If not, have shared some of the letters that I have personally used, and you are welcome to copy, paste, and edit them to suit your situation. However, be careful to edit them correctly, as my information is likely different than yours.

These links take you to sites that offer free information and or products that can make erasing your debt a simple as fill in the blank, print it, and mail it to the creditor. There was a plethora of information out there to sift through. So much in fact that I literally spent weeks poring over the information. Once I had the information though, the software I purchased made it easier to navigate my way through the paperwork. Without the information that I found on the free web sites, I would not have known what to look for in the software. If I didn’t have the software that I purchased, I would have had to create all the forms from scratch. Why re-invent the wheel? The fact is that it is easier if you have both the knowledge, and the software. On the links page you can find some of these free sites, and some form programs. These sites can educate you on the laws and practices in the debt industry, and make erasing your debt easy.
